  • Will it be FREE? 

    The Government set up the Energy Company Obligation Scheme (ECO) in order to lower greenhouse gas emissions. This is done by improving the energy efficiency of households and installing energy-efficient upgrades. Generally, you will need to own your home, receive benefits and have a gas boiler over 8. To maximise the level of funding you will be entitled to, we will also require you to insulate your underfloor. 
    A lot of companies will advertise this as a FREE boiler initiative but in reality, there will normally be some sort of contribution to pay. Qualis will work with you to ensure you receive the maximum funding available to you. That's our promise to you! 
    Once you submit your form, one of our team will be in touch with next steps. If we think you meet the pre-qualifying criteria we will book you in for a home energy assessment. 
    If you wish to proceed and apply for funding through Qualis, we will work with you throughout the process. We will keep you updated along the way in terms of how much you will need to contribute to the overall costs and carry out the installation works.

  • How do I know if I will qualify?

    Typically to qualify for an ECO grant you need to be a homeowner in the UK and receiving benefits but we won't know if your property qualifies until we conduct a home energy assessment and technical survey. 
    The qualification criteria can be as simple as follows.● You are a homeowner (or a private tenant who has never had a central heating system.)● You live in a qualifying property - we carry out an energy assessment on each property. Flats normally don't qualify. 
    It really is that simple. Start the process today, it only takes around 60 seconds to take our pre-assessment eligibility check. 

  • What do I need?

    Part of the service is a FREE energy assessment of your home. This is to make sure that we can fully understand the range of measures that will be available to you. If your property meets the initial assessment we will then conduct a technical survey of your property. 
    Insulation is FREE of charge for eligible parties, but there may be a small contribution required for our air improvement or heating solutions to enable us to carry out the work. For further details, please consult the GOV.UK website.
    You will also need to be on qualifying benefits below. Child Benefit is the only means tested benefit. Please take a look at our Eco Scheme Eligibility Page for more info. In summary, these are the benefits or tax credits that are eligible with the scheme.
