Most of us are familiar with mechanical extract ventilation – fans. These units extract stale air and condensation and work by extracting stale air from your home. But they don’t replace this air.

A PIV system is a little bit different! It provides a steady stream of fresh clean air by means of positive pressurisation via carbon filtered external air. This filtration means a fresh clean environment within your home helping to alleviate pollutants and spread of viruses within your home.

How does it work?

Most of us are familiar with mechanical extract ventilation – fans. These units extract stale air and condensation and work by extracting stale air from your home. But they don’t replace this air.

Our PIV systems can be controlled from a wall-mounted RF switch and can be switched to boost mode as and when required the switch is radiofrequency and therefore no damage will be caused installing this item. There are two types of PIV system available these consist of a standard fresh air system producing air at room temperature or our heated system which heats the fresh air prior to entry into your home. If you believe a PIV system could improve your living environment and you are currently experiencing one or more of the issues above, don’t hesitate to speak to us about how we can help.
